Trains to/from Cumbernauld

Cumbernauld Rail Station is @ 3 miles from Broadwood.
However, In my opinion it is not practical for walking from this station to Broadwood, due to the severe lack of signage & the excess of underpasses with their paths leading to yet another identical looking housing scheme, so no directions are given here. I have attempted to walk/ cycle to Broadwood from this station on a few occasions in an effort to make a guide for this site but have encountered a few navigational driftings....
Be aware that there is NO Bus link between this station & Craiglinn (Broadwood Stadium) for most of the day, as the 36 service bus only goes to/from the station after 6.30pm ! Click here for the bus timetable.
However there is a local Taxi Office based at the Station, so it shouldn't really be a problem asking for a cab to go to Broadwood. Taxi-fare shouldn't cost more than £5.00 to Broadwood.

An hourly service operates to/from Motherwell, Whifflet & Coatbridge Central, taking @ 20 minutes, but it should be noted that this service to Coatbridge/ Motherwell after a Midweek game shuts down @ 2200hrs, so you could be left stranded.
